Frequently Asked Questions
Is this program free of charge?
No, this program is not free. However, in most cases, the cost is covered if you qualify. We leverage the savings on your FPL bill resulting from energy efficiency upgrades to help offset the project’s expenses. Our goal is to minimize your out-of-pocket costs.
Is this a government Program?
While this program is not directly operated by the government, it is designed to government-approved energy and efficiency standards. Our upgrades — including solar panels, high-efficiency AC systems, and backup generators — align with the latest state and federal guidelines to ensure the safety, reliability, and efficiency of your home.
Who is paying for this?
In most cases, if you qualify, the cost is covered through a combination of savings on your FPL bill, federal tax credits, and energy-efficiency financing programs. When you upgrade your AC, add solar panels, or install a backup generator, your monthly bills decrease, and we help ensure those savings offset the project’s cost.
This way, most homeowners don’t end up paying anything more than what they’re already used to spending on utilities.
How much does solar, AC, or a generator cost?
The cost of a new roof/windows varies depending on factors such as the size of your home, the materials used, and other specific requirements. We offer personalized assessments to provide a solution tailored to your needs. Our goal is to find a method that fits your budget and provides the most safety and value.
Do I qualify if I'm on a fixed income?
Absolutely! Our program is designed to accommodate homeowners on fixed incomes. We understand the financial challenges and aim to make the program accessible to as many qualified individuals as possible. We provide tailored solutions that align with your specific circumstances, ensuring you can benefit from the program.
Do I need good credit to qualify?
No. There are no credit or income requirements to participate. If you’re a homeowner in eligible Florida counties, you may qualify.
How soon will I see savings?
Most homeowners notice immediate savings on their monthly electric bills after installation. Over time, the upgrades pay for themselves through reduced utility costs and improved efficiency.
What if I already have solar or a generator?
You may still qualify for an upgrade or replacement system if your equipment is outdated or inefficient. Many homeowners save even more by modernizing their existing systems.
Is there a limit to how many people I can refer?
No. After the third successful installation you will receive $1500 for each.
When do I get my reward?
As soon as the referral finishes theproject.
